Shouldn't they be in Canada?

Stopped on my way home from work to take a few shots of these geese and their little ones.....

Mama was definitely watching me, or maybe it was Daddy goose, I don't know enough about geese to know.....

Wish I could pick them up, I can imagine how soft they are.....

I only hope they don't go out in the road, it is way too busy......and anyway, shouldn't they be in Canada already?

Bird's Eye View

Some people would see an ordinary Sparrow, but I see the work of a Master Designer at work.....

I believe this is a Curved-bill Thrasher.......look at all the variations of brown and grey

And of course, a Mourning Dove......with the mate in the background. I never get tired of hearing their little coos

Pink Camellias

I took these in my hometown of Lodi, California........this is the church my Grandpa and Grandma used to attend. I remember the ice-cream socials they used to have in the summer. And the dinners in the church fellowship hall. With spaghetti and limp iceberg lettuce salads. And hokey sing-a-longs where my Dad and I would be fighting laughter because we always thought the same things were funny.

Sometimes they were excruciating, but I wish I could have just one night like that back.

Jesus Paid it All......

Whatever else happens in this life, there is one thing that looms large on a day like today.....

Because of this one event.

Our lives were saved, changed, transformed

forever more.

He is Risen,

So we will rise too!

But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.   For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.   For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:20-22
God took the sting out of death forever, and I think the reason that the earth quaked the day Jesus was crucified was that Satan was having a big fat fit.
He knew the tomb would soon be empty.
He knew he had lost.
Have a Blessed Resurrection day, from Lori's Views

Resurrection

It was cold and kinda drizzly......

But there was hope in the orchard........I could see it.

Spring had made its presence known once more in little white clouds on the ends of the branches

Year after year.....the earth rises from slumber to give us hope of Resurrection.
